1. Custom categories

What’s new?

Based on your real-time cash data, you can create custom financial categories in your re:cap account.

How does it help you?

You can track your live cash flow (in and outgoing transactions) and can customize it to your needs and specific business model.

2. Project & Team tags

What’s new?

Using real-time cash data and custom tags, you can add precise context to your financial categories. This allows you to create tailored cash flow statements that include only the transactions relevant to your unique business structure and your needs.

How does it help you?

  • You can better organize your cash data and gain deeper insights. This enables you to:
    • Categorize your cash flow on a more detailed level and build a cash flow statement with only related transactions (e.g., with only IT Salary)
    • Customize your transactions by team, business area, or project to get tailored reports and a clearer view of your liquidity at every level.
    • Separate your expenses in different categories (COGS, operating expenses, financing expenses, by department, by team, by country…)
  • This is especially relevant for project-driven companies like agencies, software developers, recruitment firms, consultancies, and engineering or architecture companies.

3. Table & Charts export

What’s new?

You can download your insights from your re:cap account. The export includes granular data of tables as a CSV export and a PNG export of all charts.

How does it help you?

The export makes it easy for you to integrate your data with other tools or include it in reports or presentations.

4. Help Center upgrade

What’s new?

We updated our Help Center and gave it a fresh look. Additionally, we added more than 50 articles and videos to provide you with more information on how to use re:cap.

  1. You can find the Help Center in-app on the right side by clicking on “?”
  2. The dashboard got a new look.
  3. You can browse through the different features and general information.
  4. You can do a deep dive on specific use cases and how to implement re:cap in your workflows.

How does it help you?

We’ve added detailed use cases to help you integrate re:cap into your daily workflows and to get a better understand how re:cap can help you with your financial operations. Each feature now has its own dedicated section.

5. UX improvements

Managing your finances and financial operations should be seamless and intuitive. Here’s what we improved from a UX perspective:

  1. Navigation: you can collapse the navigation to have more space to discover your insights.
  2. Changing tags: the dropdown is now better structured, helping you to change custom tags as quickly as possible.
  3. Bulk selection: you can change up to 1000 tags at the same time and speed up your tagging process.
  4. Data sources: we made it clearer which insights page is based on which of your data sources.
  5. Data processing: you see more details on the status of your uploaded data.
  6. Fullscreen mode: we optimized re:cap for large screens.
  7. Invite 3rd parties: you can invite externals (financial advisors, banks, investors) and share your financial insights with them.
