How to order a UK company certificate (Companies House)

As part of the compliance guidelines, UK companies need to supply a recent certificate issued by the House of Companies not older than three months at the signature date of the FFA.

Below, we'll explain how to obtain it. You must register a user account (free of charge) to order a company certificate (fees apply).

1. Go to: https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/

2. Search your company.

3. Choose More, scroll down and click Order company certificate.

4. Now, follow the instructions to get to the online form and fill it like shown.

5. Choose the preferred dispatchment option.

• Express (50 GBP):
  • Same-day dispatch (if ordered before 11:00 am UK time)
  • Hard copy + email PDF
  • Use this if urgent
• Standard (15 GBP):
  • Sent within 10 working days
  • Hard copy only (2nd Class Royal Mail)
  • Use if time allows

6. Enter your billing and payment details and complete the order.
