Berlin-based fintech re:cap announces the addition of experienced experts to build up the company: Christian Lücke will join the team as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), Mélanie Dufour as Director Finance and Tom Nick as VP Engineering around the founders Paul Becker (CEO) and Jonas Tebbe (CPO). All three bring years of experience in fintech, banking and tech environments to re:cap to build the leading digital marketplace for financing companies with recurring revenue streams.

re:cap CCO Christian Lücke brings years of experience in building sales organizations in fast-growing fintech companies. Most recently, he spent more than five years as VP Sales of Solarisbank, Europe's leading banking-as-a-service platform, where he was part of the launch team. Prior to that, he was part of SOFORT GmbH for five years, assisting in the successful sale to Klarna and subsequently helping to build up Klarna Germany. He will be responsible for strategic and operational sales, building up the sales organization and further developing the business model.
Mélanie Dufour joins re:cap on October 1 as a proven fintech and credit expert who has held leading roles at Dutch bank NIBC over the past five years, most recently as Director Fintech & Structured Finance. She also brings to re:cap experience from international banks such as BNP Paribas and HSBC. Mélanie will lead the finance division and be responsible for product structuring.
Tom Nick, as VP Engineering, is responsible for all software development and building the engineering organization. He comes from Google, where he spent the last two years helping to build YouTube's shopping strategy. Other positions in his career include Head of Software Engineering at Berlin-based agency Sapera and Senior Frontend Developer at digital asset manager LIQID, where he was the first employee.
In the coming months, re:cap and the founding team will take the product to market and win investors and companies for the re:cap marketplace.
