Berlin, April 6th 2022 – Berlin-based fintech re:cap is expanding its management team, gaining Matthias Memminger as Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) and Philipp Blankenagel as Vice President Marketing & Communications. With their extensive experience and network, they will drive the company's growth and be responsible for building the strategy and marketing organization. re:cap was founded in 2021 to provide companies in the subscription economy with a simple, fast and transparent way to finance growth by pre-funding recurring revenues within 48 hours. The company successfully launched to the market at the end of last year.

As CSO, Matthias will be responsible for the strategic direction, growth initiatives and geographic expansion of the company. Previously, he was lead Partner for Asset and Wealth Management clients in Europe at Bain & Company. He brings valuable expertise in financial business models, asset management and regulatory affairs and has a strong network including numerous global private equity houses.
Philipp is responsible for all Marketing and PR activities of re:cap. The fintech expert was previously responsible for Marketing & Communications of the European Banking-as-a-Service champion Solarisbank for four years, where has part of the launch team, and worked for the fintech company builder Finleap. Most recently, he was responsible for the marketing of the early-stage VC Capnamic and advised various fintechs in the areas of branding and PR.
